The Internet is becoming a more and more important part of people’s personal life. To set up your network of contacts, it is almost essential to represent yourself virtually, striking your path to Web 2.0. The range of platforms is wide: create your own web site or take part in web communities such as myspace, studivz or flickr.
The animation abstractly highlights the way into the net, within the net and of the net itself. That means: everybody stepping into the door of the Internet looses, the deeper he gets, more and more his track of where exactly he is, which precise way he took and where his own trace is to be found. Sooner or later he will recognize that there is no exit, because it is just impossible to backtrack all the information you revealed. Your data is so widespread that it remains in the net, long after you leave the stage. Is deleted data really removed from the Internet?
